As of v3.0 CoopHUD is working and compatible with other HUD mods!

Integrates bot count and survival respawns into HUD. This effectively replaces Print Bot Count and Survival Wave Enabling/Printing as this prints bot count to the HUD as well as enables respawns in survival and prints the respawns remaining to the HUD. This does not override the server HUD and thus should be compatible with all HUD mods.

Mutator=CoopHUD

This supports the following modes in local play and on servers and adds the following to each:

Checkpoint: Adds Bot Count to the bottom of the screen.

Survival: Adds bot count to the bottom of the screen as well as enabling respawn waves for survival and printing the respawn waves near where it typically is for coop. The respawns can be disabled using bDisableRespawns=True. By default it is set to False to enable them.

Other Modes: This overlays the bot count at the center bottom of the screen. This is minimal and won't cover any gamemode visuals and works well with PVP modes vs bots. This can be disabled by setting bEnablePVP=False.

Config Description
Threshold This sets the number that the bot count will be displayed when less than or equal. This is for checkpoint only. Default value is 999, so that the bot count will always be displayed. When running with Hunt this may want to be set to something lower like 5.
bDisableRespawns If set to True, this will disable respawns for Survival mode only. Since Survival mode does not allow respawns based on Game.ini settings, this mod enables them, but in order to allow servers control, this setting is added. If set to False, then respawns will be enabled in Survival mode. Default is false. To enable/disable respawns in Checkpoint use bForceSoloWaves under the checkpoint header.
bEnablePVP If set to True, then the bot count will be printed for the enemy team when playing PVP modes against bots. If set to False, then this mod will be disabled for all PVP modes (Frontline, Push, Ambush, Skirmish, Firefight, etc). See how to play PVP modes with players vs bots with my PVP mod.


Note: Its always possible that some HUDs may have some weird overlaying occur that may block stuff. Please let me know if you have any issues.

A very nice addition to the HUNT Mod ;) TayLord - in case you´re open to wishes/suggestions: option to show enemy-count only, if enemy-count is smaller than 5, that would be cool!

Added Threshold so that this can be done. Default is super high so that its essentially disabled. Just set it to 5 and run with Hunt. :)

Whoops. Seems it only worked in local play. Servers wouldn't set the config value and would default always to 0 so it was never displayed. Try now.

We're running this with Hunt and ISMC. Works great playing COOP as Security, but overlaps when we try playing as Insurgents.

Let me know how 3.4 works for you. I checked for ISMC and took a different approach that is working on my machine.

Just tried it again, same overlap when Insurgents. Pretty sure at the latest version, did see a quick download of something on connect...goes too fast to catch.

Interesting. Could you send me an example scenario you're seeing this on and the ISMC mutator you're using? I assume Security is fine and only when playing as Insurgents it overlaps. As another sanity check, your image shows Waves displayed on the right side for Insurgents. Its displayed on the left side for Security correct?

The screenie was from Farmhouse. Travel line down below. Yes Security is fine, Insurgents overlaps probably because the Waves display on the right instead of on the left (as it does when playing Security).

Weird. I'll need to play with it a bit. The last version took the faction from the scenario name if ISMC was running. I'm not sure what ISMC does to factions. Probably sets them different. Worse case scenario I could just use the Survival method for ISMC, which just displays the bot count on the bottom of the screen as opposed to either side.

Good to know. ISMC must not set the Attacking/Defending team values. I'll force it when running with ISMC in the next update.

Hey! Just wanted to shout out the community. Insurgency Sandstorm is the almost perfect experience of close quarters infantry combat. It reminds me of Black from Criterion, with Rainbow Six Vegas terrorist hunt.
