Coast takes place in a oceanside town taken over by militia. It's a small/medium sized map, which can range from CQB to Long Range engagements. It features 7 checkpoint objectives for each faction. While 4 objectives must be conquered by security before reaching insurgents cache, in Coast's push gamemode. Team deathmatch takes place within city walls, previous to them being destroyed on the east side of the map by insurgent forces who bulldozed through one wall.. ending disastrous for the driver. Leaving the bulldozer and himself dead. Continuing on the militia looking to cause more damage, used a fuel tanker to blow up another portion of the wall. With local police either gunned down or unable to stop the rebels, they call in military forces to seize back the coast.

Update 1.0.2

During the competition lighting was built incorrectly due to an error in the editor. After painfully sitting through light builds, Day and Night have been rebuilt. This should overall help performance and stability.

TDM has now been broken down into 3 separate areas.

Full Map
Mid - Inside town walls, no access to large building
Inside - Large Building (currently broken [needs to be fixed])

craz man update on coast map my sincerest apology for putting you in a awkward position the cause for the map not showing up was dumb human error map cycle text was wrong all good now.

craz thanks for your interest in my issue so when we bought a server from gameserver.com we noticed that junkyard macidonia maps no longer worked, when on my personal server running on my windows pc worked fine so we came to the conclusion this is due to the server host runs this game on a lynix based machine and macidonia map guy says he is unable to find a fix so i hope this sheds some light as to why it seems your map has fallen victim to this as well sucks our server is nld tactical clan server -ismc-we run almost all the mods that play

CTK ? is your map lynix compatible to play on our server it wont show in map list or is the map cycle text incorrect any help would be greatly appreciated .I play tested it and it is a pretty map that needs to be available in the map rotation thanks in advance. Checkpoint security.

Hey One-eyed, first of all thank you, and I apologize for the late response. I am not extremely familiar with running dedicated servers on lunix, or lunix for that matter. However, I am positive the map can work in map cycle, for windows you would only enter the scenario, in this case being (Scenario="Scenario_Coast_Security",Lighting="Day"). As far as lunix, I will have to do some research and get back to you.

Attempted an update with lighting built correctly, however another part of the map was left out. Due to it being game breaking to the map the update is being reverted and will be fixed after competition ends. Unluckily for now, the lighting rebuild had shown a decent boost on performance.

Along side the only version of team deathmatch that will work right now is Scenario_Coast_TDM

Hello, I tried the map, but the gamemode Push (Security) did not work for me. The map also seems to be missing shadows/lighting.

If you're playing local, load up a map on local play first then in console type:
Travel CTK_Coast?Scenario=scenario_coast_security?lighting=day

you can replace day with any of the 4 lighting scenarios: Dawn, Dusk, Day, Night.

Thanks, that command works. It turns out that shadows are not properly shown with "shadow quality" set to "medium" or lower, at "high" or higher the shadows are rendered fine.

Noticed further issues with the lighting build, There will be an update within the next couple days to fix. (Luckily, with a final upload now being allowed.)

I'm trying to load the map in local play to test the tdm version and It keeps crashing. I've been using "Open Coast?Scenario=Scenario_Coast_TDM?" in the main menu console and it crashes

The proper string for tdm would be "CTK_Coast?scenario=scenario_coast_tdm" the last question mark also is unnecessary unless specifying a lighting scenario after.

As for others looking to test this map, and like a hardcore experience, where players work together well, I recommend this server. I often play on their servers myself. (Almost Daily)

Tried the map a few minutes ago, the textures seem to be fixed, at least the missing ones on the ground.

Thankyou, havent had a chance to test myself being complied/updated while I rested for the night. Noting, "atleast the ones on the ground" were there other greyed textures you noticed?

Waiting for the map with fixed missing textures. But even in this stage it's playable also and I like it. The waypoints for the bots are set nicely and the map is a challenge. Keep going with the good work.
