i want to introduce you my third Insurgency sandstorm custom map named "der_Riese"

Description:

Underground research facility

Liberate our secret weapons research facility from terrorists

Known Issues:

Bots get stuck / do not follow paths

The rocks have some broken collisions

gladly. :)
The fact that it took a little longer was not due that my update was not available, in fact it was ready for about 6 months.
But the problem why the bots suddenly stopped spawning after a certain checkpoint I could not solve, no matter what I tried.
So it made no sense to release.
Since I'm currently mapping for another game, I still wanted to see if the latest update might fix the bug.
Nothing changed on the map, just compiled it again (like x times before) and the bots spawn again.
Since I don't really follow the Sandstorm / Mapping topic anymore, I suspect that new bugs are appearing now
as after every update of NWI. :(
On my test server I noticed that at the end of the round not all maps from the "MapCycle.txt" are available in the selection menu.

Hi,
as I said, I haven't played it for a while. Because of the bugs after each update and the attempt to become a COD clone.
The current bad guy looks like one from COD BO Cold War, embarrassing.
I prefer to play the original.
Speaking of COD, I have returned to my roots.
Actually I am a COD maper. (how time flies) :)

COD BO III (the last COD with mod tools) from 2016 still has an active mapper/moder scene.

danke für dein Lob und den Hinweis :)
Eigentlich dachte ich das eine recompilierte Map keine Bot Probleme mehr haben sollte.
Werde es mir mal auf meinem Testserver mit einer dementsprechenden Bot Einstellung anschauen.

So habe es gerade getestet.
An den Punkten "D" Waffenkiste-1, "H" Waffenkiste-2 und am Ende kommen tatsächlich wenig bis keine Bots.
Wieso? keine Ahnung! Habe nichts verändert und finde eigentlich auch nichts was das spawnen verhindern würde.
An den anderen Punkten spawnen relativ viele Bots.
Dieser von NWI modifizierte Unreal Editor ist mit Abstand der größte Mist mit dem ich bis dato gearbeitet habe.
Wenn die keine Lust mehr haben Mod Support für ihr Spiel zu bieten dann sollen sie es zugeben und Schluss machen.
Nach jedem Update ist immer mehr kaputt.
Mir tut es nur um die die Community leid die sich auch mit so einem Mist rum ärgern muss.

Floors have disappeared around the last couple points. I assume it's broken from game updates.

Fantastic map otherwise. I hope it's fixed...it's one of my favorites.

Hi,
thanks for your feedback, on my test server the error does not occur.
In the current version of the map, all the floors are there.
What I noticed is that since the last editor update I can't edit the map properly.
This also refers to the map "Pruefstand7".
Both maps are quite large, my smaller maps can still be edited.
Unfortunately I don't have the time to search for a bug probably caused by "NWI".

hi, i tested the map ytd, overall is was very fun map. just small issue that bots sometimes spawn in front suddenly please try fix it.

Hi, thanks for your feedback, since the map is large and has different zones, do you happen to know in which zones the error occurs. And another question how many bots were set as enemies.
This would help me to fix the issue.

my server set to min 8 max 16 bot, during issue happen we have 5 ppl in server, opposite have 12bots iirc. I can see bots instant spawn at point C right after when i step in to lab. 2nd place happen is on stair going down to last point, the bot instant spawn in bottom of stair
