A number of configurations for different fire support quantities in coop for player and bot team on both factions. This modifies the amounts available and sets the round start delay to 0. This doesn't alter the loadout or radial menu.


Mutator Description
FS_1 All fire supports +1
FS_2 All fire supports +2
FS_2x All fire support x2
FS_3x All fire supports x3
FS_Inf Tons of fire support
FS_Inf2 Tons of fire support but with only 1 of each choppers
NoSmoke Vanilla fire support but with no smoke
NoFS Disabled fire support
StripFS This strips the binouclars and radio from players and bots on spawn without touching the loadout. This enables the ability to disable fire support in custom loadouts like ISMC.

For StripFS alone there is an optional config, both of which default to true but can be used to just strip the fire support from bots or humans:

I made StripFS to be compatible with ISMC. ISMC overrides the fire support like this mod does, so they are incompatible.

with this mod would it be possible to just strip the Smoke Fire support?

You wanting to remove smoke fire support from ISMC or something? StripFS just removes binocs/radio so bots wouldn't get any fire support. To remove just smoke the mod would have to insta-kill any smoke mortars before they hit ground, which is what is available here I believe: Insurgencysandstorm.mod.io

would this work on ISMC_hardcore by using NoFs for disabling fire support on both sides ?

Use StripFS to disable fire support with ISMC. Binocs and radio will still be in the loadout menu, but removed on spawn.

would this also disable the bot side cause there r times the bots for the ismc hardcore mod is overbearing

Yes. StripFS will remove binocs and radio from bots as well as player with no discrimination.

It might if using ISMC_legacy. The other ISMCs already override the firesupport, so both mods would be overriding the fire support. Either one could potentially win, and you'd either end up with vanilla loadout or ISMC fire support. To get rid of fire support with ISMC_hardcore you'd probably need a mod that doesn't override fire support, but instead removes binoculars and radios from players after they spawn. I might be able to add a StripFS mutator in the future to do that for ISMC.

Would be soo cool to drop smoke and mortar at the same time, or using 2 choppers at once. Is it possible to alter the cooldown time before calling another fire support?

Yes its not hard to do, but unfortunately, you can only edit which fire support, quantities and round start delay without overriding the loadout as well. To adjust the cooldown you have to override the factions and resulting loadouts. This would then not be compatible with other loadout mods and be the vanilla loadout. If you want custom loadout with altered cooldowns, then the maker of the custom loadout must change the fire support cooldowns. This was made to be compatible with other mods.

Sadly doesn't work for me. Tested FS_2x, 3x and INF in this combination of mutators:
ISMC_Casual, EasierFireSupport, NoRestrictedAreas, StallCounter, NewRespawns, FS_Inf, ISMCJumpShoot, ImprovedAI

Is EFS overriding anything? Can you point me in the right direction?

This should be compatible with all of those, but I'm unsure of ISMC. I believe ISMC has it's own Fire Support doesn't it? If they do, then they are already overriding the fire support and so its a race as to which mod will override the other. I cannot change the number of fire supports that I don't have in the editor.

Try removing ISMC first as a sanity check. This should be compatible with all those others, provided you are using Easier Fire Support 2 and not Easier Fire Support. Both have the same mutator name, but the first overrides fire support and will be incompatible. The second was an improvement that is compatible.

Yeah man, you're absolutely right. ISMC completely rewrites air support.
Without it, this mod works beautifully.

Try ISMC_legacy maybe. That uses vanilla FS sets.
