There are now 2 mutators available inside this mod.

1. Regular PistolsOnly but you can't pick up primary weapons dropped from enemy

This mutator behaves just like the built-in but unlike that one, it also prevents players from picking up primary weapons.
Use -Mutators=PistolsOnlyNoPickup or -Mutators=ImprovedPistolsOnly , they are the same mutator. The second one simply still exist to support the old name.

2. PistolsOnly for both sides (incl bots)

Now the enemy bots are also using only their pistols!
Use -Mutators=PistolsOnlyBothSides


Also add -ModDownloadTravelTo=Powerplant?Scenario=Scenario_Powerplant_Checkpoint_Security to your startup as well, otherwise you'll have to reload the level before the mutator mods will kick in. Don't forget the -Mods flag as well if you don't already have it in there.

I think it's likely they would expand the current mod into a full XYZ weapons only with the added ability to mix and match. Makes more sense than a dozen different mods.

Just played it through with "PistolsOnlyBothSides" on farmhouse and the bot counter attack on the last objective came in with guns (I saw Uzi and Toz but they might have had more but I got killed then...).
Also, would it be possible to have the limitation to pistols only but keep the classes regardless? specifically the commander / observer would be needed here... :)

There seems to be bug in the game with the counterattack spawns, whenever they spawn extra bots, those extra bots completely ignore the squad layout. I will enforce correct player classes to prevent this issue in upcoming update.

just get the MoreAmmo mutator, you can have both like -Mutators=PistolsOnlyNoPickup,MoreAmmo

Nice mod! I'm not sure if this is deliberate but on a counterattack, the bots get their normal loadout back. Then, after the counterattack they are pistoleers agian.

Its been released now as a second mutator in this pack, use -mutators=PistolsOnlyBothSides

I'm thinking of making a generic mutator that enforces class loadout, meaning you can't pick up anything that your class cannot equip from the start. So in case of PistolsOnly, your class would be Pistoleer and he has access to a bunch of pistols, but no primary weapons. You can then combine this mutator with any default mutators (PistolsOnly, ShotgunsOnly, AntiMaterielRiflesOnly, BoltActionsOnly...) then this mutator will be deprecated.
