This mutator disables the restricted areas. Now you can go wherever you want.

Use -Mutators=NoRestrictedArea like normal, but also add -ModDownloadTravelTo=Powerplant?Scenario=Scenario_Powerplant_Checkpoint_Security to your startup as well, otherwise you'll have to reload the level before the mutator mods will kick in. Don't forget the -Mods flag as well if you don't already have it in there.

You don't add it on game.ini! Who told you that?

If you're running a server, you only need two things:

1) Mods.txt file with the mod ID (at the top of the page) which for this mod it is this: 98145
2) The mutator added to the launch option like this:

-mutators=SoldierOfFortune,JumpShoot,NoRestrictedArea,MoreAmmo

I have done exactly what has been suggested. Not my first mod or mutator, and yet for some reason i simply can't make this work... i can't figure out what i'm missing.

Can anyone help? Im not sure if the file above has to be installed in the dedi somewhere? I still have red zones on my maps.

I did not put the "ModDownloadTravelTo" in the command line .. does that matter. I did reload my maps in game but it didnt work

This is what I use to launch my Linux server (some things have to be changed if you're doing Windows)

Can you verify that the mutator is loaded? It should show up on top of the scoreboard and also in the welcome message. I do recommend you use the -Mutators AND the -ModDownloadTravelTo flags. Don't forget the -Mods flag as well if you don't already have it in there.

so agree about workshop... its weird becasue NWI already pays 30% to steam anyway.

No.

Add the mod id to mods.txt
Add
-Mods -mutators=NoRestrictedArea -ModDownloadTravelTo=Powerplant?Scenario=Scenario_Powerplant_Checkpoint_Security
to the launch options

That's it. It'll automatically download the mod, and when it's done, it will "travel to" the map listed at the end there.

NWI doesn't think things through, especially for community servers... hence we have slow downloads for maps, maps not showing in menus etc. INS2 workshop worked a lot better.

why does this have to go on the launch params? I had to shorten the name of my server because i ran out of space. it weird putting ports, and maps and mods and all that crap in there. anyone? can anyone explain this? I've run dedis before and i have never seen anything like what insurgency does to make you run a dedi....
