I am working on reuploading the map to wokr with the current update. Having some trouble with the editor.

Checkpoint map in a medieval Setting. It is not yet fully optimized. There will be more stuff in the next updates.
Playable as Security and Insurgents. Day and Night mode. Hardcore should be available.

If you have any suggestions for optimizing the layout or other stuff, please feel free to comment. Please be specific or best send a screenshot.


Every time you download a new version of the map it will be saved in a new folder without deleting the old folders. To save space on your disk:
go to the mod folder and delete the old versions. This is a problem of mod.io

To test it in single player: open console and type:

-there can be some glitches from invisible objects that were deleted before the upload. for some reason they seem to stay there until the next upload.

Great map just tested new version with 8nsurgents, but no bots are attacking, get a few spawns at map center marker guy.

Seconded. The bot's pathing isn't the best just yet. For the first 2 or 3 points they spawn in the same place, out in the open. For the rest of the points the bots are hard to find, including on the final when playing as Insurgents. Thanks for all your work on such an awesome map!

i play locally with bots if you can please remove the requirement for everyone to be at the last point i cant take it because the friendly ai doesnt move at all but if i try to play the map without them its too hard as i cannot respawn at all

Thx for your comment. The map was designed to be played with a few players against lots of bots in coop. Have you tried playing online with others? If that is not your thing, you could easiliy alter the game.ini file to get rid of friendly AI, reduce the amount of enemy AI or even alter the amount of waves and much more.

Great map, love the new points in this update. But unfortunately when we start a match we don't start as a team, we spawn all over the map. Some do spawn at the true starting point but the rest spawn in other spots. We run 2 servers one with 15 players the other 12. See 0lympus INS if you like.

Sadly map upload to mod.io does not work for me at the moment. so you have to live with the split up spawns for now.

thx for the info. i will look into it.
edit: i figured it out. i forgot to assign the new spawns to a specific spawn zone. it should be fixed in the next upload.
might take a few days though. until then, you could see it as a feature, so your team has to find a way to get together :D

At the last point we get the message "More Players Needed." Is there any way to get rid of that and allow normal capture? Thanks.

I did this on purpose so every one alive has to be in the cap zone. I try to get some more feedback and maybe remove it in the next updates.

I just uploaded a new version. If i did not mess up, there should be hardcore mode available.
For loading try the standard commands. Name of map: "Stork_Castle"
Please let me know if it works.

Not yet. since we mostly play with 50 bots there was no need yet.
I can look into it and give it a try if it is not too much extra work.

Hi,

So, little feedback from my community, this Map is too big and filled with emptiness. Rocks and grass, nothing more.

You have to walk 250 meters to reach point A, then another 130 meters to reach point B, honestly, it's not good.

When we play this kind of game, it is to have the action and not to go for a tourist walk.

This Map is just good for sniper campers.

Too bad, I was hoping that the Medieval side would have been put more forward and that it would be more Fun.

hi, i can't get the server up with this map, adding it in mapcycle.txt as follows

(Scenario = "Scenario_Stork_Castle_Checkpoint_Insurgents", Lighting = "Day")

and mod.txt number (162079) breaks the rest of the maps when selecting new scenarios, I am executing it with the following Mutators mods "ISMCarmory_legacy, ImprovedAI, HardcoreHUD, SlowMovement , SoldierOfFortune, NoRestrictedAreas, CustomObjectives ".

GNAO did you get this map working?? try removing one of the mutators, ISMCarmory_legacy(this one works as stork is in my clan and can verify and i have that mutator running on NF server and his map plays fine)

Try it without the spaces between the equal signs. Other than that i have no idea. I just put nice things in the map, no clue about server things :D
