Some feedback: Map looks beautiful, atmosphere is intense, the foliage adds to the overall challenge.
Brings me to my first issue with the map: Every object is glowing somehow and ruining the overall realism (characters are way too bright, same for caches and enemies). This smth you can change - if you did this on purpose (to maybe make things more visible) - could you consider to make another lighting, with a more realistic approach? Nonetheless, very nice, intense Platoon vibes going on here, shot at a lot of innocent plants and trees out of sheer panic ;) Good job! Thanks for your work!

The subject of light is of course always such a thing, but I will follow up the hint.

I have now played this map enough to be able to review it and not give just my first impressions. For context I only played this map on checkpoint frenzy. My review comes a bit late with regards to the mapping contest, so my apologies for not getting to it sooner.

This is my favorite mod map. It is fairly small but what is there is done well. It nails the deep jungle aesthetic and feel. Playing in the tall grass and bushes at night makes me feel like I'm being hunted by velociraptors. The pathing of the bots is excellent. There are some conga lines when they get funnelled but otherwise they have lots of opportunities to surround you if you're not careful. The use of hills makes the map feel bigger than it is, which is a good thing. The polish overall is impressive. I would be very interested in an expanded version. 10/10 I say.

Regarding the contest, no problem, I think the result is clear :))
But, what you describe is what my clan members and I feel when we play our map.
Yes, we lose a lot on this map, and yes the bots are hard to beat here, but what matters is that you get sweaty hands and wonder where the hell I'm getting shot at!
But that's the way it is in jungle warfare.
Something like that is much better than a map in which I can comfortably massacre all bots.
There is also already a version in which I have built in adjustments based on the hints here.

This map is so pretty, it has a solid and very unique aesthetic .

One problem is that theres awkwards empty spaces betwen the objectives and it really stands out because of the ammount of detail in the "main structures "(props to that btw, the camp near the river looks amazing), expecially in the top part of the map and the security spawn on push, id say a way to mitgate that would be adding some more terrain variety: more natural trenches, some unclibable mounds, more trees, some big boulders as well, fallen logs, dirt paths and etc.

Also some more structures could help alot in pvp so you have cover while going to/attacking the objective, those open plains are just asking for snipers hidden in the grass.

Hello thank you for your feedback and for testing the map.
in the upcoming map version there will be more trees, (for example on the hill by the temple).
These will provide more cover.

Hi, just tested the parameters on my Linux server and everything works as it should, the four game modes appear in the selection menu and can be started.
However, I always test my maps only with standard Linux / Windows servers without mods!
Do you have additional mods installed on the server? There are often strange problems.

Maybe you should delete the mod ID folder "175082".
and download the map again.

Hope you can solve the problem to play the map :)

A very well done map imo. The spawns of the bots are a bit too close to the objectives they are counter-attacking, but otherwise good. The pathing of the bots is almost perfect, except for when you're on a tent I.imgur.com. They think they can get you if they go inside and stand under you.

This map is very good! I hope they will take it into the official game. I like the jungle environment. It is really special and would be some different experience than the current maps. I dont know exactly where your jungle is supposed to be located, maybe india? But this would be okay, because the terrorists are international and the US would deal with those as the international force. Thumbs up!

I'm glad you like the map. Personally, I also think that there are enough city scenarios in this game :)
That's why my maps represent other scenarios if possible.
The location can be definitely in Asia and the USA often act with secret units all over the world :)

About your wish that it will be an official map....
