Scenario Name: TheFarm_Main_Checkpoint_Security

TheFarm_Main_Checkpoint_Security_Night

map name: TheFarm_Main

This is an early map attempt. You play as security only checkpoint Coop. There are 6 objectives,, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo , Foxtrot. Defeat the Insurgents to gain victory!
This is meant for play testing to see if we can find any bugs or to see if the level is balanced.

This is meant for up to 8 players in a coop setting, working together to beat the AI. Hopefully it builds and runs successfully for you. As our first map there are bound to be some issues with the placement of objects and AI, we shall see. If this is successful I will continue to update the map and work on additional maps.

Feel free to let me know if you have questions or concerns as I am hoping to update this based upon feedback or build additional maps.

I did not build any lighting for night yet. I was just working with sswires to fix a bug to get the editor up and running on 1.7. I am not sure how much work it takes or if it is a simple switch but will look into a night version.

Cool so far but the lighting really needs some work the shadows are too dark even on high video settings.
Please try to get a vehicle on the map for us at the start! I would say lower the height of the wheat as well and make them so that you can walk through. See TORO map for some ideas. Also lots of breakables there on that map. :)

Cool for an early start! Note to players you will need 7x 8x scopes really.

I have changed the lighting to a dawn assault, the sun is just rising behind you but the moonlight is still apparent softening the shadows. I have also made the wheat field so you can walk through the wheat anywhere but it still does interact with projectiles.

The map author and I completed it last night with a full team of 15 volunteers. You will need at least 5 to have a chance, the ranges in the map are long, if you are using tracers you can actually see the bullet drop (it made sniping a challenge). The first 3 checkpoints are finished final 3 need more work should have an update in a few days if we are lucky. Overall a challenging and enjoyable map that requires teamwork.

thank you for the new map release, the main things i noticed and only played for aa little bit is the shadow/lighting seems off. The sound when firing a weapon outside sounds like you are firing in a small room. The friendly AI dont move move which isnt an issue if being played on a server however with not may popular mod servers people may want to play this in local play to test.
I couldnt get past checkpoint A on my own there is no cover from drones or rockets which made it im possible.
cant wait to keep testing this map, keep up good work
