Upcoming update! Horror + Darkstone Big Town (largest update ever) Be patient, it might take up to a month since it requires a lot of planning and polishing to make it play GREAT.

I have replaced both Weapon Cache and Supply Crates with custom made ones, imported to fit each one while keeping them functional.

Also, reimported doors without creating a new blueprint or child for the new western doors. They are built within the map itself.

There are some Culling volumes to help keep the performance higher, although there's some issues with the shadows affecting scopes with 2x or above magnification. Solution: Stationary Sun Light.

Outpost has a strange bug related to possibly volumes in the map, after losing A, B will be secured and AI will be confused, once you die, you will freeze until the time is out.

Unfortunately, I cannot fix this, so I have created these Outpost scenarios: Outpost_Security_A, Outpost_Insurgents_B etc. Coming soon :)


New scenarios coming soon: (Scenario="Scenario_West_Checkpoint_Sheriff") and (Scenario="Scenario_West_Checkpoint_Outlaws") featuring objectives from A until Z. The torture.


PvP game modes are also being added, first one will be Domination.

Day lighting has dynamic weather, without night. Shadows will move and the sun is moveable (fully dynamic) over 30 minutes day/night.


Total objectives for insurgents are 7 from A to G.

Total objectives for Security are 5 from A to E.

- There's a bug that causes scopes to reduce performance significantly when shadows are on. [Pending fix]

Any chance of making the windows break on the houses. Continually having to shoot thru dust covered glass is a pain

Oh, windows are part of the whole wall, I will try my best later and remove the window part from the wall using blender. I will look into it. For now, I have made all windows visible from both sides. It was worse before.

This map is really beautiful, especially at rain weather. I think the texture of the map is 4K? It seen there a little frame drop at day when I am aiming. Can't wait to play the whole map. I am wandering is there will have a path will go through all the map? That will be sweet.

Hey thanks for the awesome comment! yes, terrain textures are 4k and rest mostly 2k.
I'm working on 3 maps, in the future, there will be West map expansion, full checkpoint length A-Z.

Sorry for bother your. We got some problem when we use rpg, a10 or helicopter to remote destory point D under enermy fire (they are every where aroud the point) teammate will respawn around point D and get instant kill from this enermy. If there can emprove this situation will be nice. Maybe a foxhole or a shelter could help.

Got a chance to test out the rain mode with zombies XD.
The little puddle ripples show up inside the houses on the cell bars and windowsil's etc. not sure if that can be changed.
Also the drop ripples seem a bit too small and happen too often? I'd suggest making them larger and slower/more spread apart maybe.
Definitely interesting though!

hey thanks for the comment. I can hide the rain effects using a volume but! the biggest problem is! the volume will cause issues with character animations and AI navigation. :(

I will try to make them larger slower, but in the next update. I'm busy IRL :P

I didn't, but I have a map that will come out later, using sandstorm assets only. It was meant for competition.

-Fixed game crash during scenario load for both checkpoint security and insurgents.
- Overhauled the entire map.
- Added lights for Night lighting scenarios.
- Fixed post processing issues with buildings allowing players to change brightness without accessing the building.
- Added the following scenarios:

Outpost Security C

I did, but server still crashes. Deleted and redownloaded the files but still server crashes. It will say "loading" but show no progress and then server reboots. Here is the logfile, dont know if you can read anything in there: Imgur.com

Are you running custom mutators or anything like that. This log is not enough to fix this problem.

The issue is with assets, I don't why its happening. Try asking a friend who has a server and test the map as well.

im am running the more ammo mutator and several 3rd party maps, but west is the only map with that problem. I will try more and more, i really like the look of this map!

maybe ur server has corrupted download, try deleting 487148 folder in mods.

As mentioned above, i did allready, to make sure i deleted again 2 times. Still same Problem. I dont want to point fingers, but i run every other custom maps without problem, and West is the only that dosent work. Can you maybe recompile and update? My players are really thirsty for this map. I hope we can sort it out!
